We have experienced instructors

Ballrooom East dance instructors have received years of the highest quality of training in all styles of dancing.
We are very proud to have extremely high level teachers instructing our two Beginners classes on wednesdays and fridays.

When: Every Wednesday
Lesson Time: 8:00 pm to 8:45 pm
Instructor: Linda Jackson
Cost: $5.00 per person
Beginner Group Class on Wednesdays begins with the first Wednesday of the month and schedules one dance for that month. This means that in a years’ time twelve dances can be learned.

We find Beginners especially like the opportunity to meet and dance with other novice dancers. Because dancers have different heights, personalities, and skill levels, the group lesson is the perfect blend of instruction and social ambiance.The structure of the lesson is as such. Linda teaches the man’s part first and the ladies part next and then puts the two together. People are given the opportunity to rotate partners frequently throughout the group class or stay with one partner if they wish.All Beginner Group Classes are open to the public and usually consists of 16 to 55 people.

A dance partner is not required. There is no up-front financial commitment. You only pay for the classes you attend.

Dance Party: 8:45 pm – 10:15 pm
Cost: $10 per person
Beginner Group Classes on Fridays are scheduled differently than the Wednesday classes. On Fridays we teach a different dance every week. We do not teach the same dance for a month as we do on Wednesdays. We do however add a “Dance Party” right after the Group class on Fridays which means for $10 you can attend the class and then stay afterwards and do some Social dancing until 10:15pm.

Beginner Lessons

We offer Beginner Classes on Wednesdays and Fridays, both starting at 8:00pm and ending at 8:45pm. Now, see the differences between Wednesday and Friday Beginner Group Classes.

Wednesdays

Beginner Group Class on Wednesdays begins with the first Wednesday of the month and schedules one dance for that month. This means that in a years' time twelve dances can be learned studying each one for a month.

We find beginners especially like the opportunity to meet and dance with other novice dancers. Because dancers have different heights, personalities, and skill levels, the group lesson is the perfect blend of instruction and social ambiance.

The structure of the lesson is as such. Linda teaches the man's part first and the ladies part next and then puts the two together. People are given the opportunity to rotate partners frequently throughout the group class or stay with one partner if they wish.

All Beginner Group Classes are open to the public and usually consists of 20 to 70 people.

Fridays

Beginner Group Classes on Fridays are scheduled differently than Wednesday classes. On Fridays we teach a different dance every week. We do not teach the same dance for a month as we do on Wednesdays. We do, however, add a "Dance Party" right after the group class on Fridays which means for $10 ($10.50 with a credit card/Apple Pay) you can attend the class and then stay afterwards and do some social dancing until 10:00pm.


A dance partner is not required. There is no up-front financial commitment. You only pay for the classes you attend.
