How to learn your wedding dance
1. Private Lessons
If specific music is selected for these dances then Private Lessons are the best option. Private Lessons usually work better for the wedding couple if they have a specific piece of music in mind. The instructor needs to listen to the music so the best dance can be selected that suits the music and the couple. We also teach the Mother-Son Dance and the Father-Daughter Dance. If specific music is selected for these dances then Private Lessons are the best option.
Private Lessons are $65 an for 45 minutes or $43 a half hour.
2. Private Group Lessons
Private Group Class works better if some of the wedding party are also going to dance at the wedding. We can teach a group of people at one time and either teach everyone the same steps in the same dance or work separately with one couple while another one is practicing something different. We are very flexible with our teaching methods and can adjust to however many show up from the wedding party.
Private Group Lessons are $65 for 45 minutes up to twelve people. Thirteen people and up are $5 per person.
Things to think about

- How big is the floor you will be dancing on?
- Is it wood or tile? This is important since we can adjust the steps to fit the size of the room and better to know ahead of time than on that special day.
- What shoes are you wearing? We suggest you take your wedding dance lessons in the shoes you will be wearing or shoes that have the same height heel. Balance can be greatly affected by high heels so getting comfortable walking and dancing in the wedding shoes is very important.
- How big is your wedding gown? Dancing in a long dress can be a challenge especially if it is going to be bustled. We need to make sure the steps are doable with a long, bustled dress.

Music Considerations

If you have your music preselected then we can choreograph something appropriate to it that also works well within the parameters of the dress and shoes.
